What I'm doing

Now

Work

Leading Android at DevRev

Six engineers, one Compose codebase, and CI that keeps getting faster. Most of my week is architecture reviews, code review and unblocking people.

Open to the next role

Senior mobile and Kotlin Multiplatform roles, remote across the EU. Email works best.

Parrot

Parrot on iPhone

Bringing the reader to iOS on the same Kotlin codebase: library, sync and read-along are shared, the player and the reading view stay native.

Parrot Cloud

Books, reading positions, highlights and statistics synced across every device you sign in to. It's in early access while I harden it.

Writing

More engineering notes

Write-ups of what it takes to run Kotlin Multiplatform in production, from the build to the App Store. Follow along with the RSS feed.

This is a now page, an idea from nownownow.com.

Contact

Have a Kotlin Multiplatform project in mind?

I'm open to senior mobile engineering roles, Kotlin Multiplatform migrations and Android architecture work. I'm based in Slovenia and work remotely across the EU. A job offer, a migration review or just a question about KMP: email me at rok.retar@gmail.com.
